Blom Architects BV - IT Parc Four Faces of India

Four Faces of India

Description

The concept is based on rapid construction time, flexible format and the column-free spaces as preferred in such IT areas. The climate plays a major role in the design. A concrete building with a glass facade at 1.5 meters freely suspended, creating a natural tension between both the walls and the facade witch automaticaly reduces the heat on the wall.

The buildings all have their own character and they symbolize the four landscape features of India, namely the Himalaya (snow + rock), deserts (sand), tropical rainforests and the oceans that surround India.
